I have quite a few updates slated to move over to Test Server. I'm just having some computer issues at the moment..or I was. I resolved them but too late tonight for my brain to function.
I was playing around with a new Virus that came out..figuring out how it ticks and such and I accidentally let it out into my system. So, I've been spending the day recovering all my data back onto my freshly reinstalled system. Pretty nasty virus..was quite impressed. Tore through my sandbox in a few seconds and disabled all protections on the machine. I'll have to research it further later.
Anyway, Ash has been doing some updates as well..getting all the starter area quests going and such. I get to commit all his changes tomorrow then move my stuff over. Mostly core updates...a few spell/talent changes, goblin totem models, a fix for the save problem, a fix for the inspect function, etc. Nothing overly exciting..just things that need to get done. Some AI updates for a few of the new areas...couple quest fixes.

Fixed the Kick Ash Defender proc. The secondary effect is still a negative spell not sure why my flag isn't working. Ah well..it still is working as intended minus that part.

* Did a new character transfer/conversion test on the Test Server. Copied from 6am this morning on KA and converted by Ash. Everything seems to work fine. The KAD should convert to the new item ID for you automatically. You will need to relearn dual spec and any spells/talents. We also had to clear the Skill table so professions will need to be relearned. This is for testing purposes..we have not figured out if we're going to be able to convert them or not.
* Fixed the mail system issues. Mail will now be sent, without delay and without missing items or stupid random emails afterwords with 5billion COD charge.
*Fixed the guild XP log/ XP window updating. There's still an issue with your "guild reputation" and the "XP gained today" values but those are minor things at the moment. Everything else in the guild system appears to be working to spec. Need more feedback on that.
Still haven't bit the bullet and redesigned the enchantment system to include the two new slots from Cataclysm. I've just been putting in filler values to get the system functional for now. It's really not hard to add new slots but it could potentially break every Gemmed/Enchanted item currently in players' inventories. So, I am reluctant to try it.

Got a few updates rolling down the pipe here in a few minutes:
* Fixed destructible objects. BG/OPVP area walls, buildings, etc.
* Cleaned up some bugs in Wintergrasp script.
* Fixed some achievements due to packet struct issues. Unknown all the things this fixes as there were a lot of achievements that used this struct.
* Cleaned up script code for many areas. Added AI Scripts for Eversong Woods, Kezan, and Ghostlands.
* Fixed some spell and talent issues due to packet structs. Unknown all that it fixes..many use this struct same as achievements.
* Implemented a new Feed reset method on Ash Realm Pets. It will set the reset to 24hrs from the first time you summon it then every 24hrs after that it will reset again. Will only reset when pet is summoned but will maintain the timer internally. This is a temporary fix...I plan to set the timer to a specific time of day later on.

Had some downtime today while I was recompiling several dozen times. I officially downloaded and played my 4,000th online game today (That was since I started counting a few years ago). It only lasted about 10 minutes..which was less time than it took to download. But, it's something I suppose.
The winner (loser) was Craft of Gods. Do not play this game...it's horrible, lol. Terrible controls, terrible gameplay, terrible graphics, and terrible response times. Don't get me wrong..I don't mind a game with outdated graphics..so long as those graphics fit the game and do not confuse the player or turn them off from the environment. Like EQ or AO..those are outdated but I still don't find them to be an eyesore. Their graphics fit the style of game.
But, when you enter a game and the text is all in Courier or the characters look like a 10yo got 3d studio for his b-day...there's a problem. I had one game, recently, that I swore I was riding a brown cow until I found out it was supposed to be a horse. And seriously, Courier font? You couldn't at least switch it to Comic Sans or something? I could almost live with that. I would prefer a company take 5minutes and build their own custom font for their game...but anything is better than Courier. It's insulting when a company looks like they spent 30 seconds brainstorming the actual game and the rest of the time designing the website and cash shop.
I started going back through the core devs' bug tracker and fixing things. Nothing to report yet..I've been doing them all locally on my laptop and testing while restarting to test AH fixes.

Still not able to figure out the bug with the Auction House. I may need to move onto other problems for now and revisit it later.
I'll keep trying for a bit..but we have so many other things that need done as well.

Implemented the new trade opcodes and packets. Doesn't all work yet but it should at least be functional.
Core devs took all the work I did with debugging the opcodes and deciphered most of the missing packet information.

Fixed the issue with the pet cage not working on the Test Server. It was a dev screwup in the item prototype loader. This will probably fix a lot of item bugs as well..since it was loading the last 30 fields of the 100+ fields of the item_template incorrectly.
I also fixed the subname on the pet too so it changes dynamically.
Fixed the menu problem and some other issues for next restart.
